IELTS is an international English language proficiency test selected by the University Grants Committee (UGC) as an exit test for the final-year undergraduate students of UGC-funded universities under the Common English Proficiency Assessment Scheme (CEPAS). All BEd students are therefore encouraged to participate in CEPAS during their final year of study.
